Resumen

Teaching strategies for social awareness
and participation environmental
The socio-environmental problems in the educational espace
generally has the connotation of being addressed as
conceptual themes without the contextualization that she
needed to minimize it; therefore, it is assumed in this project
as a central theme to promote the participation and awareness
of the educational community in order to design a series
of teaching strategies involving own conceptual learning
of education and development of skills and abilities for the
design and development of Environmental Education projects
that enable them to assess and transform the socioenvironmental
situations identified in the institution. 1. Clarify
and-diagnose a problem situation práctica. 2. Formulate strategies
for action to solve the problem: a process focused on
Participatory Action Research (Sandin, 2003) in four (4) phases
was developed. 3. Implement and evaluate strategies. 4.
Reflection (interpretation of results and rethink). This process
culminated in the design and development of an Environmental
Education Project (Valero, 2011) was the targeting
strategy for the recursive development of the different phases
of the process, giving leading role actors (students and
teachers) achieving transformation recreational spaces and
green areas in the institution.
